Wharton Graduation

Can you believe it? Mike's done! I'm so proud of him working hard every step of the way and reaching his dreams. Mike is the first that we know of to graduate with a master's degree in his family. That takes a lot of dreams, work and ambition. I really am so proud of him and we both recognize we have been blessed every step along the way. Each of his schooling and career decisions have been considered gifts from our Heavenly Fathers and we are so grateful for the opportunities He provides for us. We are also grateful for Mike's mom for raising a responsible boy into a responsible man and are so glad she and Dennis joined us on the big day.

After the ceremony a reporter followed Mike to get his take on a Wharton Grad's current ethic's scandal. "What can the school do to mend their student's behaviors?" he asked.

"It all starts in the home," Michael responded. "If it hasn't been taught in the home there is not much that can be done by the time they reach graduate school." Such a smart grad. Do you think Wharton taught him that one?

So grateful for the crew to help with the kids and support Mike on his big day. Big Day #1. Way to go hun!

We are so proud of Mike . . . especially for being a good dad. Too bad graduation means real work in the real world, eh? I hope you're surviving this week better than the first week. I'm assuming all the blog activity means you're hanging in there! I'm loving all the updates. Still waiting for some more everyday magic. I love to see you guys in action!
